BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa was sworn in as Chief Minister on Wednesday at 9 am in the midst of a political affair in the Supreme Court of Karnataka. He became the Chief Minister of Karnataka for the third time. Earlier, the Supreme Court had refused to ban the resignation of BS Yeddyurappa while hearing the Congress-JDS appeal. Apart from this, the court has issued a notice to the Karnataka government and JD (U) to Karnataka Government and Yeddyurappa seeking the response.

The court has said that Yeddyurappa's oath will be tied up with the final judgment of this matter which means that if the disturbance arises, his oath will be canceled and he will be defeated with the Chief Minister's post. The court has called it 'Subject to Outlook' in its language.

After hearing both parties, Justice AK Sikri, Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice Sharad Bawde refused to ban Yeddyurappa's swearing in, the court said that the court would issue notice and give decision only after listening to all the parties.

Mukul Rohatgi has asked the court to allow him to take oath, when to do the floor test, to decide when the court is sitting in the morning on this morning. At the same time, Venugopal said that he can show the letter of claim of BJP's support to him in the day-to-day. That is, this will be possible only after taking oath. At the same time, Justice Sikri questioned why the BJP needed 15 days to prove the majority. On this, BJP's lawyer said that he is ready to prove majority in 7 days.
