The trend of streamlined open world games these days makes me nostalgic for how games like Gothic and its brilliant sequel Gothic 2 approached open worlds back in the day.\r
Ive been wanting to talk about this wonderful ion RPG for a very long time, so heres my most important reasons why Gothics open world design is still, after over 14 years since its release, amazing!\r
